Crookston, Minn. - The Golden Eagles will be in Minneapolis this Friday as they get set for the Roy Griak Invitational. The men's team is off to a good start this season following their 12th place finish at the Augustana Twilight where Noah Revels (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) led the way with a time of 19:42.

Five of the Golden Eagles' runners finished in the top 150: Noah Revels in 35th at 19:42, Riley Hanson (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) in 109th at 20:36, Connor Thoennes (Sr., Coleraine, Minn.) in 122nd at 20:43, Bennett Allred (Fr., Cedar Rapids, Iowa) in 127th at 20:44, and Kohen Holcomb (Fr., Marshall, Minn.) in 142nd at 20:54.

With a strong first meet now in the books, the Golden Eagles will look to the rest of the season to continue that trend. It all starts this Friday at the Les Bolstad Golf Course in Minneapolis, Minn. for the 39th Roy Griak Invitational. The men's race will begin at 11:30 a.m.
