2025 (Freshman): Holcomb made his collegiate debut at the Augie Twilight with a time of 20:54.2...He set his 8K personal record at the Dordt Holiday Inn Express Classic, clocking in at 27:24.5...Holcomb posted a time of 27:28.5 at the NSIC meet...He notched his 10K personal mark at the Central Region race with a time of 39:45.8. 

Prior to UMN Crookston: He helped lead Marshall High School to a State Championship in 2024, and a third-place finish in 2023...He has a 5K personal record of 15:56...He earned All-Big South Conference accolades in 2024...Holcomb helped guided Marshall High School to Conference Championships in 2023 and 2024.

Personal: He is the son of Andy Zahl and Breha Holcomb...Holcomb plans to major in sport and recreation management.
