Crookston, Minn. - The Golden Eagles have their highest Regional ranking in program history, ranking 19th out of 39. It is a ranking that the Golden Eagles have done a lot to earn this year, as they have shown vast improvement from previous seasons. 

Minnesota Crookston placed 28th of 31 teams at the 2024 NCAA Central Region Championship at Tom Rutledge Course. Last season's placing was tied for their best placing at the regional in program history. 

Noah Revels (Sr., Farmington, Minn.) has been fantastic this season, he has led the way with three top 20 finishes. Revels finished 12th at the NSIC Conference Championship two weeks ago. He has also finished 17th at the Roy Griak Invitational, 16th at the Holiday Inn Express Classic, and 35th at the Augustana Twilight. Revels guided Minnesota Crookston at the Regionals in 2024, with a personal record 10K time of 33:51.05. Revels has been the top runner in program history, holding the 8K and 10K marks for the program. He also holds the four-mile school record for Minnesota Crookston. 

Connor Thoennes (Sr., Coleraine, Minn.) is coming off a 10K finish of 34:07.39 at the Regional Championship in 2024. Thoennes placed 48th in the 8K at the NSIC Championship clocking in at 26:59. He posted a personal record in the 8K of 26:00.8 at the 2024 NSIC Championship. In the 10K, he has a personal record at the Central Region Championship in 2022 of 33:27.1.

Last season, Zach Hanson (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) tallied a personal mark in the 10K of 34:49.66. Robert Ingle (Jr., Laura, Ohio) had a personal record in the 10K of 34:52.97, while Riley Hanson (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) was just shy of his 10K mark with a time of 35:34.13. Hanson's 10K record came in 2023 at 35:10.65. Additionally, Aaden Nauman (So., Windom, Minn.) is coming off a 36th-place finish at the NSIC Championship with a time of 26:59. Kohen Holcomb (Fr., Marshall, Minn.) will be the lone freshman making his Regional debut for the Golden Eagles. Nauman ran for Sioux Falls at the Central Regional in 2024, clocking in at 33:37.17 and placing 131st. 

Ingle has been a two-year member for the Golden Eagles, running at Regionals both years for Minnesota Crookston. In addition to his 10K personal record last season at Regionals, he has an 8K record of 26:40.06 at the 2024 NSIC Championship. 

The Central Regionals Men's Race will start at 11:15 a.m., in Joplin, Mo. The Golden Eagles will hope to secure a spot at the NCAA Cross Country Championship and have one last race in the 2025 season.
