                     Wayne, Neb. - The Golden Eagles had a fantastic outing at this year's NSIC Championship, finishing 5th out of 14 competing schools. That marks the program for most teams beaten at the NSIC Championship, surpassing the previous record of four in 2024. On top of that, the Golden Eagles had their lowest point total at the NSIC Championship in program history with 175 points, their previous record was 319 in 2024.
As for the Golden Eagles' individual runners, Noah Revels (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) led the way with a program record 12th place finish, with a time of 25:48. Aaden Nauman (So., Windom, Minn.) finished in 36th with a time of 26:41. Connor Thoennes (Sr., Coleraine, Minn.) finished 48th with a time of 26:59. Right behind him was Riley Hanson (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) who finished 49th with a time of 26:59. Robert Ingle (Jr., Laura, Ohio) came in 62nd at a time of 27:24. Kohen Holcomb (Fr., Marshall, Minn.) placed 63rd with a time of 27:28. Zach Hanson (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) placed 67th with a time of 27:34. Bennett Allred (Fr., Cedar Rapids, Iowa) finished 73rd at a time of 27:44. Jonathan Roth (Fr., Sioux Falls, S.D.) placed 100th with a time of 28:31. Chase Werner (So., Marshall, Minn.) placed 102nd with a time of 28:40. Brayden Paulson (Fr., Little Falls, Minn.) finished 113th with a time of 29:06. Lane Hoefs (Jr., Waden, Minn.) placed 116th with a time of 29:11.
