Colfax, Wis. - The Golden Eagles are through the majority of the regular season and now hope to finish the season strong. At the BluGold Invitational, the Golden Eagles had a program record, finishing ahead of 16 other programs. They finished 18th out of 34 teams competing. The previous team record was 12.
Noah Revels (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) led the way once again for the Golden Eagles, he finished 96th with a time of 26:47. Riley Hanson (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) finished 121st with a time of 27:03. Four Golden Eagles set new personal records: Bennett Allred (Fr., Cedar Rapids, Iowa) finished 180th with a time of 28:08, Kohen Holcomb (Fr., Marshall, Minn.) came in 204th with a time of 28:30, Jonathan Roth (Fr., Sioux Falls, S.D.) finished at 207th with a time of 28:34, and Brayden Paulson (Fr., Little Falls, Minn.) finished 255th with a final time of 30:02.
The Golden Eagles are heading to Sioux Center, Iowa for their final regular season meet at the Defender Classic next Saturday at 10:45 a.m. Following that, it will be the NSIC Championship in Wayne, Nebraska.
