Marshall, Minn. -- After a nice weekend at The Jewel in Hudson, Wis., Minnesota Crookston women's golf is set for a quick turnaround this weekend as they head to the EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite, hosted by Southwest Minnesota State.

The Invite will be held at the Marshall Golf Club and will be a 36-hole, two day tournament.

The Golden Eagles will hope for a repeat this weekend. In their previous two times at the EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite, the Golden Eagles have set school records. A year ago, they shot a school record 624, breaking the previous record of 625, set in 2024.

The Golden Eagles finished in a tie for second last season at the Invite.

Minnesota Crookston is coming off an eighth place finish at The Jewel, after being led by Ainsley McLain (Sr., Grafton, N.D.), who shot a career-low 74 during the final round and finished in a tie for 12th. McLain's 74 was tied for the fifth lowest round in program history.

Libby Dulmage (Sr., Leeds, N.D.) and Nayonika Kapoor (Fr., Bangalore, India) finished in a tie for 32nd and 36th, respectively.

Laura Sitter (Fr., Medora, N.D.) and Dani Tinklenberg (Fr., Williston, N.D.) will also join the lineup this weekend in Marshall.

With the Golden Eagles, the field includes: Southwest Minnesota State, Concordia-Moorhead, Briar Cliff, Gustavus Adolphus, Chadron State, Sioux Falls, Upper Iowa, Winona State, Augustana, MSU Moorhead, Dakota Wesleyan and Minnesota West Community and Technical College.

The first round kicks off tomorrow morning at 9 AM.
