Marshall, Minn. -- Minnesota Crookston women's golf stayed put in the 10 spot on Sunday afternoon, finishing 10th out of 12 teams at the EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite, hosted by Southwest Minnesota State.

Minnesota Crookston shot 679 through the tournament, 338 during the first round yesterday and 341 this afternoon.

Augustana led the majority of the way and won the tournament with a two round score of 599. Sioux Falls finished in second place with a 610, while Upper Iowa finished third, 12 strokes behind the Cougars.

There was a three-way tie individually, as Sophia Karsnia of Sioux Falls, Carmen Jirele and Payton Drafke, both from Augustana, finished in a tie for first.

Ainsley McLain (Sr., Grafton, N.D.) moved up two spots and finished in a tie for 20th after carding a 79, with the help of a pair of birdies. Libby Dulmage (Sr., Leeds, N.D.) finished with a second round 82 and a tie for 34th. Freshmen Laura Sitter (Fr., Medora, N.D.) and Dani Tinklenberg (Fr., Williston, N.D.) carded an 86 and 94, respectively.

The Golden Eagles will have a weekend off before they head to Kearney, Neb., for the Regional Preview on Oct. 11-12.
