CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team will host St. Cloud State University Wed., April 18 at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. at the UMC Baseball Field. The games were reversed to Crookston, Minn., due to the winter storm that hit the St. Cloud area over the weekend.

Minnesota Crookston will look to ride the momentum of their non-conference sweep of Bemidji State University over the weekend. The Golden Eagles enter the week with a 16-19 (2-14 NSIC) mark. Minnesota Crookston is slated to have 16-straight games at home after this week's relocation. This includes last weekend's four-game series with Bemidji State.

St. Cloud State comes into Wednesday with a 19-10 (12-5 NSIC) record. The Huskies have not played since April 11 when they split with University of Minnesota Duluth.

Minnesota Crookston is looking to improve in the conference standings heading into 12 home games. On the mound, the Golden Eagles have looked to the performance of their bullpen. Crookston-native Aaron Hollcraft (Jr., LHP) has not given up a run in 8.2 innings of work with eight strikeouts and four walks. Closer Zach Seipel (Jr., RHP, Eagan, Minn.) continues to be one of the best back-end relievers in the league with a 2-1 mark and a 3.38 ERA in 24.0 innings pitched. Seipel has six saves on the season with 40 strikeouts to just 16 walks.
