CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball program is hosting their Alumni Game and Banquet Saturday, September 26. The Alumni Game will be held at 1 p.m., at the Minnesota Crookston Baseball Field as the alumni take on the current Golden Eagle squad.

The social hour and banquet will be hosted at the Crookston Inn and Convention Center. The social hour will commence at 5 p.m., with the banquet starting at 6 p.m. The Golden Eagles will honor their former student-athletes that went on to play professional baseball, a list that currently stands at 14 including four who have played affiliated ball, Paul Krebs with the Kansas City Royals organization, Zach Seipel with the Atlanta Braves organization, Jake Dykhoff with the Baltimore Orioles organization, and Michael Hallquist with the Chicago Cubs organization.

The Golden Eagles will also honor baseball alumni and former assistant coach Mitch Allore, who passed away tragically earlier this year. Allore's former Head Coach Chris Vito will also return to campus to speak.
