Biography

2017...Redshirt junior season...Saw time at second and third base as a redshirt junior...Appeared in 39 games with 23 starts for the Golden Eagles...Hit .211 on the season with seven runs scored, two doubles and four RBI's...Earned four walks on the season...Notched three stolen bases on the season...Went 3-of-5 with one run scored in win at Winona State...Was 2-of-3 with one RBI and one run scored against Dickinson State. 

2016...Junior season...Redshirted the 2016 season and will have two years to play two beginning in 2017. 

2015...Sophomore season...Appeared in 33 games with 28 starts, playing at second base and short stop mostly for the Golden Eagles...Had 94 at-bats during the season...Tallied 17 runs scored and 15 RBI's and was among the team-leaders with seven stolen bases...Anaya hit .234 with 11 hits, seven doubles and one home run...He notched five walks during the season...Went 2-of-4 with four RBI's and two runs scored at Dickinson State...Was 2-of-4 with two runs scored in Florida against Kentucky Wesleyan.

Prior to UMC: Played a season at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, S.D. under Steve Gust but did not appear in any games...Played at Dakota Wesleyan with Patrick Amerson.
 
High School: Played for Pueblo Magnet School...Helped Catalina Magnet School to a state title in 2011...Batted .324 as a sophomore...Also played in the Pony League and Kino Collegiate League.
