2017: Redshirt freshman season...Appeared in 10 games with nine starts before missing the rest of the season to injury...Played designated hitter...Hit .286 on the season with five runs scored, one double, one home run and three RBI's...Posted a .429 slugging percentage and a .286 on-base percentage.

2016: Freshman season...Redshirted initial collegiate season...Will have four years to play four.

Prior to UMC: Peppel was a two-time All-Northwest Diamond Conference Honorable Mention pick... He has twice earned the top hitter award for Badger-Greenbush-Middle River H.S...Peppel was a four-time letterwinner for baseball...He was an All-Conference Honorable Mention pick in football and was also named Rookie of the Year and Offensive Most Valuable Player while earning three letters...He served as a football team captain...Peppel earned one letter with basketball...Peppel hit .325 with seven doubles, one home run and 10 stolen bases in the Spring of 2014..In the Spring of 2013, Peppel hit .365 with five doubles and 10 stolen bases...In the Summer of the 2014, Peppel hit .415 with six doubles and two home runs and in the Summer of 2013, he batted .350 and hit two home runs with five stolen bases.

Personal: Peppel is the son of Greg and Michelle Peppel...He plans to major in elementary education...Peppel was born Aug. 16, 1996...Peppel's uncle Robert Wagner was a student-athlete at Minnesota State University Moorhead, his mother Michelle was a student-athlete at North Dakota State University and his cousin Brett Wagner was a student-athlete at Bemidji State University.
