2018: Junior season...Started 12 games on the bump finishing with a 2-6 record and a 5.98 ERA...Led the team with 65 strikeouts while walking just 34...Struck out 9 batters in back-to-back starts against Sioux Falls, and Bemidji State.

Prior to UMC: As a sophomore at Century, Rustad posted a 6-1 mark with a 1.69 ERA in 53.1 innings pitched...Tallied 60 strikeouts to 35 walks for Century College...Helped lead his team to a 35-14 mark during his sophomore season...He helped lead Century to another NJCAA Tournament appearance, where they lost to Niagra County C.C...Rustad appeared in 10 games, mostly out of the bullpen as a freshman at Century College...He was 5-2 with a 4.57 ERA in 41.1 innings pitched... Rustad had 50 strikeouts on the season with 31 walks and 21 earned runs on the year...He helped Century College to the NJCAA World Series in Kinston, N.C...In high school, he played for Blaine H.S...Rustad was an All-Conference and All-Section pick as a senior...As a junior, he was All-Conference, while as a sophomore he was All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Personal: Rustad is the son of Tom and Dawn Rustad...He was born Oct. 16, 1996...Rustad plans to major in sports and recreation management.
