Another freshman, Emily Kalina, is hitting .349 and has driven in 16 runs. Chayse Doering is another youngster who is hitting .313 and leads the Golden Eagles in RBI with 22. Charlotte Dombrowski was nothing short of fantastic last weekend, going the distance in the circle in both wins for the Golden Eagles last weekend. The senior capped off her first career shutout last weekend in a 3-0 win over Sioux Falls and then topped that the next day by going 8.0 innings in a win over SMSU. The 8.0 innings pitched are the most by a Golden Eagle since Thayda Houser pitched 8.2 innings in a home loss to MSU Moorhead in 2023.
