Minnesota Crookston (15-37, 8-18 NSIC)

The Golden Eagles are coming off of a win on Wednesday against Minnesota Morris, shutting out the sister system school, 4-0. The Golden Eagles scored four runs in the win, which is one more run than they scored in the previous four games.

Chayse Doering is making a case for an all-NSIC team. The sophomore is riding a 15 game hitting streak, a career-high and has five multi-hit games in that streak. Doering is hitting .347 on the year and leads the Golden Eagles in triples, home runs and RBI. Rayna French is hitting .313 on the season, including .370 in conference play. The Golden Eagles are hitting .273 as a team.

In the circle, the Golden Eagles have a team ERA above 5.8 and are led by Charlotte Dombrowski and her 4.12 ERA. Four Golden Eagles have made 10 or more appearances on the season.

Minnesota State University, Mankato (29-21, 16-10 NSIC)

Minnesota Crookston heads on the road for a matchup with Minnesota State Mankato, for the last weekend of NSIC regular season play. The Golden Eagles are coming off a non-conference 4-0 win against University of Minnesota Morris on Wednesday.

Minnesota State Mankato has plenty of offensive firepower. Seven out of their eight most used hitters have an average over .300. Gianna Lara and Hannah Tong have been the most productive hitters on the team with 79 RBI's combined. They also contributed 17 home runs, which is more than half of the entire team's total.

Maddie Oetzmann and Jorey Fry have made a fantastic pitcher pairing for the Mavericks this season. Oetzmann holds a 3.39 ERA with a 14-6 record on the season. Fry isn't far behind with a 3.58 ERA and a 12-12 record. These two pitchers combine for over 80% of innings pitched this season for the Mavericks.

Winona State University (43-8, 22-4 NSIC)

Minnesota Crookston's last matchup of the season will be away at Winona State University. The Winona State Warriors have had a dominant season and are hoping to solidify their place as the number one seed heading into the NSIC tournament.

The Warriors are led by Alyssa Woelfel on the offensive end, hitting .407 which is the fourth highest average in the conference. The team hits for an average of .328 with five of their starters above that mark. Bryn Elsenpeter has produced the most runs on the team, batting in 45 RBI's on the season, which is fifth in the conference.

The pitching rotation for the Warriors has been their bright spot this season. Jayda Berg and Izzy Howe have split the starting pitcher role almost equally this season. Berg has been hugely effective with a 2.15 ERA and an astonishing 115 to 11 Strikeout to Walk ratio. Howe has been a great partner, with a 2.42 ERA herself, holding opponents to a .216 batting average. Ashley Theisen has been able to carve out some time as a reliever with 17 appearances, she has a 9-0 record and a 2.42 ERA.
