Sioux Falls, S.D. - The Golden Eagles Men's Cross Country program showed that they are a program on the rise, finishing 12th out of 25 competing programs. South Dakota State took both the men's and women's races. The Golden Eagles set a new four mile school record, with a final time of 20:32, the previous record was 20:51 at the Augustana Twilight in 2024.
Noah Revels (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) set a new school record, finishing at 19:42, beating his own record of 20:09. Riley Hanson (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) set a new personal record at 20:36, Zach Hanson (R-Jr., Farmington, Minn.) set his personal record at 21:00, Chase Werner (So., Marshall, Minn.) set a personal record at 21:26, Robert Ingle (Jr., Laura, Ohio) earned a new personal record of 21:21, and Lane Hoefs (Jr., Wadena, Minn.) also set a personal record with a final time of 21:59.
12th is the highest finish for the Golden Eagles Men's Cross Country program, kicking off the season on a high note. The Golden Eagles will be back in action in two weeks, as they compete in the Roy Griak Invitational at 11:30 a.m. in Minneapolis, Minn.
