Lake City, Minn. – Much like Golden Eagle women's golf, the Golden Eagle men's program will compete at the Jewel Invite, hosted by Winona State in Lake City, Minn.
The Golden Eagles are coming off of a good finish in Big Rapids, Mich., at the Midwest/Central Region Preview, as the maroon and gold finished in eight place out of 19 teams, while being the only NSIC school at the tournament.
During their last time out,
Marc Bofarull Balleste (Jr., Barcelona, Spain) was playing as an individual and finished in a tie for sixth place, after shooting a 72 and 71 during the final 36 holes.
The Golden Eagles will continue to look towards
Connor Czirjak (Jr., Calgary, Alberta) and
Andrew Wilhelm (Jr., Fargo, N.D.) to help them continue to be consistent.
This will be the first tournament for the Golden Eagles with another NSIC school. The field includes: Upper Iowa, Winona State, Concordia-St. Paul, Bemidji State, Minot State, Jamestown, UMary, Minnesota State, Sioux Falls and Augustana.
The two round tournament starts on Monday and carries into Tuesday.
