Blue Springs, Mo. – During day two at the NSIC Championships in Missouri, Minnesota Crookston moved up the leaderboard. Individually, Lukas Justesen (Sr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.) moved up one spot after carding a 71 on the day, one under par. Justesen sits in a tie for second heading into the final day. As a team, the Golden Eagles moved up one spot and are six strokes clear of UMary and one stroke behind fifth and Minot State.
 
Concordia-St. Paul and Winona State will head into the final day in a tie for first, while Bemidji State shot better during the second round, but slid down two spots and are in third.
 
Logan Schoepp of Bemidji State is in first with a lead of four strokes over Justesen and Luke Maas of Winona State.
 
Every Golden Eagle in the top-five either moved up during day two or stayed the same. Marc Bofarull Balleste (So., Barcelona, Spain) moved up 15 spots to 16^th, shooting a career low 69 on the day. Bofarull Balleste finished with five birdies on the day. Justesen added four birdies on the day. Connor Czirjak (So., Calgary, Alberta) shot a 74 and is in a tie for 26^th. Andrew Wilhelm (So., Fargo, N.D.) and Layton Bartley (Sr., Fargo, N.D.) each moved up two spots on the leaderboard.
 
Minnesota Crookston will look to continue their momentum tomorrow during the final round. The final round will be a shotgun start.
