ROSCOE, Ill. - The University of Minnesota Crookston jumping seat squad competed Saturday, March 29 at Ledges Sporting Horses in the IHSA Zone Championships in Roscoe, Ill.

The Golden Eagles were guided by Alexandra Wentland (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.), who placed third in Open Fences. Belle Syrett (So., Winnipeg, Manitoba) took sixth in Open Fences.

Syrett took fifth in the Cacchione Cup, which pitted the best riders in the Zone against each other. 

In Limit Flat, Jane Droll (So., Highland Park, Ill.) placed sixth for the Golden Eagles. Syrett took seventh in Open Flat, while Jada Schimke (Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.) placed eighth in Limit Fences. 

The Golden Eagles conclude a great IHSA season in jumping seat.
