CROOKSTON, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston equestrian team will host a pair of jumping seat meets Saturday, November 9 at 1 p.m., and Sunday, November 10 at 9 a.m. at the Charles H. Casey Equine Arena in Crookston, Minn.

The Golden Eagles last competed in IHSA meets at North Dakota State University October 12 and 13 in Fargo, N.D. Minnesota Crookston earned a pair of Reserve High Point Team accolades at NDSU in both shows. Jada Schimke (Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.) was the High Point Rider in the October 12 show in Fargo.
Minnesota Crookston had four first-place ribbons in the October 12 show. Kristen Borchert took first in Intermediate Fences. Schimke put together strong showings to place first in Limit Fences and Intermediate Flat, while Sophie Gustafson took first in Novice Flat.
In the October 13 show, Belle Syrett (So., Winnipeg, Manitoba) paced the Golden Eagles by taking first in Open Fences, while Jane Droll (So., Highland Park, Ill.) placed first in Limit Flat.
The Golden Eagles will look to build on the momentum heading into their pair of home meets this weekend.
