FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston men's cross country team finished 19th of 25 at the 2024 Roy Griak Invitational at Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minn.
Noah Revels (R-So., Farmington, Minn.) led the Golden Eagles for a second-consecutive race, his first 8K for the Golden Eagles. Revels finished in 28:17.9. Riley Hanson (R-So., Farmington, Minn.) finished close behind with a time of 28:21.7. Taylor Johnson (So., Lake Park, Minn.) clocked in at 28:59.4. Connor Thoennes (Jr., Coleraine, Minn.) clocked in at 29:13.1. Tristan Morneault (R-Sr., Dieppe, New Brunswick) finished in 30:04.1. Robert Ingle (So., Laura, Ohio) ran his first 8K at Minnesota Crookston, finishing in 30:27.8. Lane Hoefs (So., Wadena, Minn.) posted a time of 31:24.1. Chase Werner (Fr., Marshall, Minn.) finished his first 8K at the collegiate level in 31:38.7.
The Golden Eagles finished 26th at last year's Roy Griak Invitational, improving their standing by seven spots. Riley Hanson took over 28 seconds from last season's time.
Minnesota Crookston will continue their 2024 season October 5 at The Runnings of the Cows in Northfield, Minn.
