CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston trap team is competing in the 2023 USA College Clay Target League spring season. The season officially started this week and runs until May 8. With the winter weather, the Golden Eagles have until April 15 to complete their first two weeks and reserve scores submitted.
The Golden Eagles are in USA College Clay Target League Conference 5 for the spring season. Minnesota Crookston will compete against Indiana Wesleyan University, Lake Superior College, Mount Aloysius College, Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, the University of Southern Indiana, and Valley City State University. 36 college teams are competing in the spring season in the USA College Clay Target League.
Minnesota Crookston finished sixth nationally in the USA College Clay Target League in the fall, and placed third in their conference in the fall.
