SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's golf team is in eighth place after the first round of the Augustana Spring Invitational Friday, April 14 at Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Golden Eagles shot a 378 in the opening round. They are eight strokes behind Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Clara Hanson (So., Grand Forks, N.D.) is in a tie for 29
th after shooting an 87. 
Lauren Bowyer (Fr., Ivanhoe, Minn.) carded a 92. 
Anaka Lysne (Fr., Wahpeton, N.D.) shot an opening round 96. 
Tiffany Kozojed (Jr., Hillsboro, N.D.) shot a 103, while 
Denali Johnson (So., Grand Rapids, Minn.) shot a 107.
Augustana University is in the team lead after shooting a 301. Augustana's Shannon McCormick holds the individual lead with a 73. She is a stroke ahead of her teammate Lanie Veenendall.
