Sioux Falls, S.D. – Time flies when you're having fun and golfing well. Minnesota Crookston women's golf will wrap-up their 2025 fall season on Monday-Tuesday at the Sioux Falls Invitational in Larchwood, Iowa. The 36-hole tournament will take place at the Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort in Larchwood.
Minnesota Crookston finished in fifth place, their highest finish ever at the USF Invitational, a year ago.
The field will be a good tune-up for the Golden Eagles for the spring. Including the Golden Eagles, the field includes Concordia-St. Paul, Southwest Minnesota State, Minot State, Wayne State College, Sioux Falls, Minnesota State, Winona State, Jamestown, Augustana, MSU Moorhead and UMary.
Two-time All-NSIC performer
Anaka Lysne (Sr., Wahpeton, N.D.) continues to lead the way for the maroon and gold and could very easily be on her way to another All-NSIC honor. Lysne has three top 10 finishes on the year, including two straight.
Ainsley McLain (Jr., Grafton, N.D.) has three top 20 finishes on the season, including a top 10 finish at the Tracy Lane Memorial.
Emma Pierson (Fr., Cherry Valley, Ill.) has also been good in her first season as a Golden Eagle.
Lauren Bowyer (Sr., Ivanhoe, Minn.) has also had an outstanding fall, shooting a career low during the first round of the EverSpring Inn & Suite Mustang Invite.
The Golden Eagles shot 310 as a team during the first round of the EverSpring Inn & Suite Mustang Invite, breaking a previous school record.
The Golden Eagles have a school record with two finishes of second place already on the season.
Minnesota Crookston will tee off the USF Invitational on Monday in Iowa.
