Edmond, Okla. – Minnesota Crookston men's golf will wrap-up their fall season this Monday and Tuesday down in Oklahoma at the NCAA Super Regional Preview hosted by Southern Nazarene University.
The Golden Eagles are coming off of an 11
th place finish at the Holiday Inn Express Invite hosted by Missouri Western State.
In the second round of the tournament, the Golden Eagles were outstanding, shooting a 290 on the day, the best round of the season for the maroon and gold this season.
Ethan Howes (So., Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta) paced the Golden Eagles after shooting a 71 to close out the Invitational last weekend.
Andrew Wilhelm (Fr., Fargo, N.D.) and
Lukas Justesen (Jr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.) shot a 221 and 223, respectively.
Jayme French (Fr., Fargo, N.D.) shot the second-best round by a Golden Eagle since 2011 after shooting a 69 in the second round on Tuesday.
There will be a bunch of Central Region teams competing in Oklahoma this weekend, including a number of NSIC programs.
The Golden Eagles will tee off tomorrow morning at KickingBird Golf Club in Edmond, Okla.
