SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Minnesota Crookston men's cross country team placed 24
th out of 27 collegiate teams in a stacked field at the Augustana Twilight Friday, September 2 at Yankton Trails Park in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Golden Eagles had an average time of 22:44.29 edging out NSIC foe Southwest Minnesota State University.
Colton Uber (R-So., Brunswick) led the Golden Eagles with a time of 22:06.35.
Connor Thoennes (Fr., Coleraine, Minn.) had a strong debut race with a time of 22:25.81.
Tristan Morneault (R-So., Dieppe, New Brunswick) finished in 22:30.26.
Chandler Gray (Fr., Dilworth, Minn.) finished his first collegiate race in 22:37.44.
Chris Feldewerd (R-So., Melrose, Minn.) clocked in at 24:01.59.
South Dakota State University athlete Ben Olson won the race with a time of 19:08.21. The Jackrabbits were the team winner, edging out host Augustana University..
Minnesota Crookston returns to action Saturday, September 17 at 11 a.m. at the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield, Minn.
