Minnesota Crookston Women's Golf Places 8th at MJCA Collegiate in North Las Vegas

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's golf team placed eighth at the fifth annual Minot Junior Golf Association (MJGA) Collegiate Invitational in Aliante Golf Club in North Las Vegas, Nev.
The tournament was the spring debut for the Golden Eagles as they opened up the second part of their 2018-19 slate.

Minnesota Crookston was paced by Anna Olson (So., Fertile, Minn.), who shot rounds an opening-round 105, and responded with a 13-stroke improvement with a second round of 92. Olson finished in 32nd-place. Allison Bot (Jr., Minneota, Minn.) shot rounds of 103 and 107. Camryn Larson (Fr., Fertile, Minn.) turned in rounds of 110 and 106. Kimi Konishi (Fr., Cypress, Calif.) had a pair of 110's. Marlee Steffes (Fr., Fertile, Minn.) made her collegiate golf debut this weekend.

Rocky Mountain College won the tournament with rounds of 328 and 327, as they bested Montana State University Billings by four strokes. Minnesota Crookston had a two-round score of 843.
The Golden Eagles continue their spring slate March 12-13 at the Winona State University Women's Golf Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev.
