BEMIDJI, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston women's golf team is in first place at the Tracy Lane Memorial after the first day of competition at the Bemidji Town and Country Club in Bemidji, Minn.
The Golden Eagles are 47-over-par for a score of 335 in their first round of competition for the 2025-26 season. Minnesota Crookston is ahead by a stroke in front of Concordia University-St. Paul. UMary is three strokes back in third. The University of Jamestown is 12 strokes behind.
Minnesota Crookston was led by Emma Pierson (Fr., Cherry Valley, Minn.) making her collegiate golf debut. She carded a seven-over-par 79 and is in a tie for first place after round one. Anaka Lysne (Sr., Wahpeton, N.D.) shot an 83 in the opening round and is in seventh place. Lauren Bowyer (Sr., Ivanhoe, Minn.) is in ninth place after posting a 13-over-par 85. Ainsley McLain (Jr., Grafton, N.D.) carded an 88 and is in 17th. Lilly Mahlberg (Jr., Worthington, Minn.) shot a 93, while Libby Dulmage (Jr., Leeds, N.D.) posted a 95. Victoria Olson (So., Cook, Minn.) finished with a 103.
Pierson is tied with Annie Neva of UMary for the tournament lead. Minnesota Crookston concludes the Tracy Lane Memorial Tuesday, September 9.
