MARSHALL, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's golf team put up their best round of the season with a 373 in the final round Sun., Sept. 23 at the Ramada Mustang Invite in Marshall, Minn. Minnesota Crookston improved by four strokes from Saturday and finished 17
th in the field.
The Golden Eagles were led by
Allison Bot (Jr., Minneota, Minn.), who carded rounds of 88 and 90 on the two-day tournament.
McKenzie Harris (Sr., Nevis, Minn.) shot a 92 on day one and improved by five strokes on the second day with an 87.
Anna Olson (So., Fertile, Minn.) turned in a 97 on the first day and a 93 on day two.
Camryn Larson (Fr., Fertile, Minn.) carded a 100 and 103 over the two rounds, while Kimi Konishi (Fr., Cypress, Calif.) shot a 117 and 119.
The University of Central Missouri won the tournament with scores of 308 and 296, besting Augustana University and Minnesota State University by nine strokes. Central Missouri's Olivia Sobaski shot a 74 and 70 to upend her teammate Elizabeth Leath by one stroke.
Minnesota Crookston continues their fall season Sept. 29-30 at the Augustana University Invite in Sioux Falls, S.D. at the Elmwood Golf Course.
