Minnesota Crookston Women's Golf Sits in Seventh after Day One at Tracy Lane Memorial

BEMIDJI, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women's golf program is in seventh play after the first round of the Tracy Lane Memorial. The tournament is being played at the Par 72, 5,904 yard Bemidji Town and Country Club in Bemidji, Minn.

The Golden Eagles have three newcomers who were playing their first rounds of golf for Minnesota Crookston. Allison Bot (Jr., Minneota, Minn.), a transfer from University of Minnesota Morris, carded a 97 on the day. McKenzie Harris (Sr., Nevis, Minn.) finished with a 99. Camryn Larson (Fr., Fertile, Minn.) shot a 101, while Anna Olson (So., Fertile, Minn.) carded a 105. Minnesota Crookston turned in a team score of 402 on the day.

Concordia University-St. Paul is in first place with a team score of 326. They are 13 strokes ahead of St. Cloud State University. Lexie Partington of Concordia-St. Paul is in the overall lead after shooting a six-over-par score of 78. Sophie Hill of Concordia-St. Paul and Lauren Stockmore of Bemidji State University are in a tie for second with 79's.

Minnesota Crookston will continue play at the Tracy Lane Memorial Tues., Sept. 11.
