CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston softball will host No. 14 Minnesota State University-Mankato and Concordia University, St. Paul Fri., April 14 and Sat., April 15 at UMC Softball Field. The games were relocated to Crookston, Minn. earlier this week due to inclement weather in Southern Minnesota. The Golden Eagles will take on nationally ranked Minnesota State on Friday at 1 and 3 p.m. They will finish the weekend with Concordia-St. Paul Saturday at 12 and 2 p.m.

She comes in with an 18-2 mark and a 0.92 ERA in 137.1 innings pitched on the season. In addition, Libby Bemis is 16-4 with a 1.74 ERA in 108.1 innings pitched.
At the plate, the Mavericks look to Jess Meidl, who is hitting .444 with 38 runs scored, seven home runs and 36 RBI's. Amber Kral adds a .355 average with 35 runs scored, 11 home runs and 36 RBI's.
Concordia-St. Paul enters the weekend with an 11-24 (3-11 NSIC) record. The Golden Bears are strong in the batter's box with a .297 batting average as a team. Justine Schattner leads the way with a .365 batting average with 21 RBI's, while Liz Jarosz is hitting .307 with nine home runs and 25 RBI's and Carlie Hart is batting .348 with 20 runs scored.
In the circle, the Golden Bears look to Samantha Sullivan, who is 5-11 with a 4.33 ERA in 108.1 innings pitched. In addition, Linzy Heim is 6-10 with a 4.82 ERA in 93.0 innings pitched.
