CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston softball team will head to the West St. Paul Dome Invitational Mon., Feb. 27 and Tues., Feb. 28 for four games.
The Golden Eagles will open up the tournament Feb. 27 at 1 p.m. as they take on Minnesota State University Moorhead at the West St. Paul Dome in West. St. Paul, Minn. Minnesota Crookston will then take on Bemidji State University Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. They will continue play with an exhibition Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. versus Anoka-Ramsey Community College. UMC will wrap up play at the invitational with their fourth game of the season against MSU Moorhead Feb. 28 at 11 a.m.
Minnesota Crookston comes into the weekend with a 3-5 mark on the season. The Golden Eagles have been led on the season by
Gabriel Antolak (Jr., C/3B, Zimmerman, Minn.), who is batting .346 with one run scored, a double, a triple and five RBI's. In addition to Antolak,
Maggie Morales (So., OF/1B, Tucson, Ariz.) is hitting .333 with two runs scored, one home run and three RBI's.

Bailey Braatz, who has posted a 2-2 record with a 3.50 ERA in 26 innings pitched.
MSU Moorhead comes into the season with a 1-3 record on the season. The Dragons have looked to Madison Paige, who is batting .429 with three runs scored, two home runs and five RBI's.
In the circle, the Dragons look to Becky Volkert, who is 1-0 with a 0.81 ERA in 8.2 innings pitched.
Bemidji State opens the season Monday. The Beavers went 33-19 on the season in 2016. Bemidji State's leading returnee is Kelsey McAllister, who batted .376 with 10 home runs and 24 RBI's last season. In addition, Jessica Burlingame returns after hitting .363 with 27 runs scored and 11 RBI's.
In the circle, Bemidji State is led by senior Jessica Yost, who posted an 18-8 mark with a 1.91 ERA in 179.1 innings pitched.
