CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston softball team will host University of Sioux Falls Sun., April 17 at 1 and 3 p.m. and Southwest Minnesota State University Mon., April 18 at 12 and 2 p.m. The games were originally scheduled for Sat., April 16 and Sun., April 17 but were moved back due to a 70 percent chance of rain on Saturday. The Golden Eagles are slated to play six-straight home games with the home slate culminating Wed., April 20 at home against University of Mary.
Minnesota Crookston enters the weekend with a 7-33 (1-19 NSIC) mark. The Golden Eagles played Bemidji State University tough on Thursday but fell 7-0 and 5-2, despite a strong performance in the circle in game two from
Bailey Braatz (Jr., RHP, Buffalo, Minn.). Minnesota Crookston has been led on the season by
Gabriel Antolak (So., C/3B, Zimmerman, Minn.), who is hitting .330 with 18 runs scored, seven doubles, one home run and 16 RBI's on the season.
Allison Foley (Sr., SS, Lockport, Ill.) comes in batting .320 with 23 runs scored, nine doubles, four home runs and 22 RBI's.

Mikayla Jones (Fr., RHP, Huxley, Iowa) is 2-8 with a 6.85 ERA in 60.1 innings pitched, while Braatz is 2-17 with a 7.24 ERA in 87 innings pitched.
Sioux Falls enters the weekend with a 28-15 mark on the season. The Cougars are hitting .326 as a team on the season with 47 home runs on the year. Shannon Daly is hitting .381 on the year with 10 home runs and 51 RBI's. Brooke Stetzler comes in hitting .450 with 44 runs scored and 12 RBI's.
The Cougars are led by Kerrigan Hoshaw, who is 13-8 with a 3.05 ERA in 130.2 innings pitched.
Southwest Minnesota State is 14-23 on the year. The Mustangs are hitting .261 on the season. Southwest Minnesota State is led by Sam Flack, who is hitting .365 with 21 runs scored, three home runs and 17 RBI's.
The Mustang pitching staff is led by Alex O'Connor, who is 8-11 with a 2.94 ERA in 124.0 innings pitched.

Kristi Larson (IF, New Ulm, Minn.). The group of seniors have helped to set the ground work for the Golden Eagles as they have started their turnaround under Head Coach
Don Stopa. The Golden Eagles have almost doubled their win total to seven from four in Stopa's first season. They have been close in several games and hope to end the season on a strong note.
