(Crookston, Minn.)- The University of Minnesota, Crookston Softball (9-24, 3-13 NSIC) team will get to enjoy four days off from games following a 10-game NSIC swing during the previous week. The Golden Eagles hope to use the days off to build up energy the team had at the beginning of the season as UMC travels to MSU Moorhead (6-25, 1-13 NSIC) on Wednesday, April 11 to play the NSIC rival Dragons. The double-header is set to start at 2 p.m.
The Golden Eagles then return to the UMC Softball Field on Thursday, April 12 to host Minot State in a non-conference double-header starting at 3 p.m. UMC then hosts #23 Augustana College (35-6, 13-3 NSIC) and Wayne State College (21-17, 7-9 NSIC) on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15. Games on both days are scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
