Shows begin at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively. In addition to the host Golden Eagles, Gustavus Adolphus College, North Dakota State University, Rochester Community and Technical College, St. Cloud State University, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and the University of Wisconsin-River falls will also take part.
U of M, Crookston Head Coach
Brooke Leininger is excited to have her squad compete in front of the hometown crowd. “The team has been practicing hard and they have made significant improvements since their last competition at Gustavus Adolphus,” says Coach Leininger. “I am looking for clean, fault-free rides, confidence in the show ring and the positive team moral that we have been working so hard to strengthen these past few weeks. I expect more consistency in the jumping rounds and fewer rookie mistakes on the flat. Those little mistakes really cost us at Kansas State and Gustavus. We've been practicing on cleaning those up and riding the horses to the best of their abilities.
