Burnsville, Minn. -- For the first time ever, Minnesota Crookston women's golf has two golfers on the NSIC All-Conference teams. Anaka Lysne (Sr., Wahpeton, N.D.) was named to the NSIC All-Conference first team for the second time, while Emma Pierson (Fr., Cherry Valley, Ill.) was named to the NSIC All-Conference second team.

Lysne becomes the first ever Golden Eagle to be named to an all-conference team on three different occasions, while Pierson becomes the first ever Golden Eagle freshman named to an all-conference team.

Addi Wood of Concordia-St. Paul took home both the NSIC Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. 

Wayne State College head coach Nick Swaney took home NSIC Coach of the Year.

Lysne's career culminated in yet another postseason all-conference honor. The senior became the first Golden Eagle ever named to the NSIC All-Tournament team, while also leading the Golden Eagles to their highest finish ever at the NSIC Championships. Lysne had seven finishes inside the top-10 this season, including three top-five finishes in the spring.

Pierson is the first ever Golden Eagle freshman to see her name appear on an all-conference list. Pierson had an average of 79.8 on the season, with two top-10 finishes on the year. Pierson had a career high place of second at the USF Invitational in the fall. Pierson finished 12th at the NSIC Championships.

The Golden Eagles finished a program best sixth out of 13 NSIC programs at the NSIC Championships. The Golden Eagles led after the first round for the first time in program history.
