FRESNO, Calif. - The University of Minnesota Crookston equestrian team fell 16-3 to Fresno State University at the Student Horse Center in Fresno, Calif., Saturday, February 7.
The Golden Eagles dropped to 0-6 in dual-discipline meets this season. Fresno State improved to 4-3 with the victory.
In Flat, Minnesota Crookston was guided by
Belle Syrett (Jr., WInnipeg, Manitoba) with a 73-70 win on Chiquita over Molly Stewart.
Maggie Lawler (Fr., Algonquin, Ill.) also scored a 73, but lost her point Saturday.
In Fences,
Julianne Lurie (Fr., Seminole, Fla.) earned a win 83-80 over Paloma Primavera on Hemi. Lawler had the high score for the Golden Eagles in Fences with an 86, but she fell in her match-up.
In Horsemanship,
Addison Pike (Fr., Grand Haven, Mich.) picked up a point with a 71.5 win on Lucy over Maya Douglas.
McKenna Hooyer (Jr., Rock Rapids, Iowa) scored a 74.5, but lost her point.
In Reining,
Siara Mosby (So., Bremerton, Wash.) had the high score for the Golden Eagles with a 72 on Wagner, but she fell in her match-up. Hooyer scored a 69.5, but also fell in her match-up.
The Golden Eagles return to action Friday, February 20 at the University of Tennessee-Martin.Â
