DANBURY, Conn. - Maggie Lawler (Fr., Algonquin, Ill.) of the University of Minnesota Crookston equestrian team was named ECAC Rider of the Week for Flat after earning a Most Outstanding Performance (MOP) honor at the University of California-Davis.
Lawler defeated her #9 UC Davis opponent 93-79, earning her second MOP honors of the season and of her career. Her score of 93 set a new program record for Minnesota Crookston, was a personal best score for Lawler, and was also the highest score of any Flat rider in the ECAC thus far this year.
Lawler joins Emma Mutnansky (So., Cass Lake, Minn.) as Golden Eagles to earn ECAC Rider of the Week accolades this season. Mutnansky has received the accolade three times this season.
