Crookston, Minn. - The Golden Eagles will be in Sioux Falls, South Dakota this Saturday for the NSIC Championship. They have had an incredible season so far, finishing in 12th, 10th, third and fourth through the first four races. They will now head to the NSIC Championship with a goal of setting a new record for highest finish at this race, which is currently last year where the Golden Eagles finished in fifth out of 14 competing teams.

The Golden Eagles have found consistency in their runners this season, and it starts with Kohen Holcomb (So., Marshall, Minn.) who has been the first Golden Eagle across the finish line in all four races this season. He has had overall finishes of 47th, 94th, eighth, and 23rd. The second Golden Eagle to cross the finish line in every race this season has been Aaden Nauman (Jr., Windom, Minn.) with overall finishes of 79th, 104th, 10th, and 26th. The third Golden Eagle to cross the finish line has been on a rotation this season: Riley Hanson (5th, Farmington, Minn.) has been the third one to finish twice at the Roy Griak Invitational and the Warrior Invitational, Martin Kuac (Fr., Surrey, British Columbia) has had one third place finish at the Augustana Twilight, and Carter Flatau (So., Perham, Minn.) has had one third place finish at the Jimmie Invitational.

The Golden Eagles will now need to lean on all of their runners at the NSIC Championship in order to soar to new heights and finish higher than they have before. The men's race will start off the morning, with it set to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 7th.
