Crookston, Minn. - The Golden Eagles Women's Cross Country Program is off to their best start in program history, they finished fourth out of 26 at the Augustana Twilight and 11th out of 21 at the Roy Griak Invitational. Now, they will head to Colfax, Wisconsin in the BluGold Invitational this Friday at 10:15 a.m.

Morgan Shaw (Jr., Redmond, Ore.) has been leading the way for the Golden Eagles this year with two top 40 finishes. In total, the Golden Eagles have had eight runners with top 100 finishes and six with top 50 finishes. The Golden Eagles will look for that trend to continue this week.

This will be the first time the Golden Eagles are competing in the BluGold Invitational and it will be the 10th BluGold Invitational ever. The Golden Eagles will look to make a good first impression at the event.
