MARTIN, Tenn. - The University of Minnesota Crookston equestrian team was honored at the 2025 ECAC Championship in Martin, Tenn. Emma Mutnansky (Fr., Cass Lake, Minn.) was named as the 2024-25 Freshman Rider of the Year in Horsemanship. Jada Schimke (Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.) was one of five recipients of the ECAC Sportsmanship Award. 

In addition, Belle Syrett (So., Winnipeg, Manitoba), Alexandra Wentland (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.), and Madison Wachtel (So., Wells, Nev.) were named First Team All-Academic for the ECAC. Ava Jo Glenn (So., Ennis, Texas) was All-Academic Honorable Mention, while Syrett, Wentland, Wachtel, Glenn, Kristen Borchert (Jr., Coon Rapids, Minn.), Rae Anna Danielson (Sr., Harris, Minn.), Jane Droll (So., Highland Park, Ill.), and Schimke were named to the Honor Roll.
