FARGO, ND – Madison Hilliard (Jr. Jacksonville, N.C.) from the University of Minnesota Crookston women's cross team, competing as an individual in women's track and field, had an eventful weekend, competing at the Bison Open at North Dakota State University.

At the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track and Field Facility in Fargo, ND, Hilliard showcased her versatility over a two-day event on Friday, February 7, and Saturday, February 8. On the first day, she competed in the 3,000m, achieving a season-best time of 10:56.96 and finishing 11th out of 27 participants. On the second day, she took part in a competitive 1-mile race, clocking a time of 5:33.77 in her first one-mile race of the season.
