Golden Eagles Tennis Set to Make NSIC Tournament Debut

Crookston, Minn. - The Golden Eagles will make their NSIC Tournament debut this Friday in Sioux Falls, South Dakota when they face off with the University of Sioux Falls. The Golden Eagles had a strong regular season, finishing with a 10-4 overall record and a 5-4 NSIC record. 

 

The Golden Eagles are led in singles by Madeleine Schneider (Sr., Gartringen, Germany) with an 8-1 record, followed by Nadia Cases Mundet (Fr., Barcelona, Spain) and Daniela de Lucas Rivera (Fr., Madrid, Spain) who posted 7-2 records, Kavya Singh (Jr., Agra, India) holds a record of 4-4, Ariadna Solis Guals (Fr., Santpedor, Spain) and Blaike Zander (Jr., Bismarck, N.D.) are 3-6, and Kaydance Hinn (Jr., Coon Rapids, Minn.) is 1-0.

 

As for doubles, Cases Mundet and Singh are leading the group at 7-1, Schneider and Zander follow closely at 6-3, de Lucas Rivera and Solis Guals are at 4-5, and Cases Mundet and Hinn are 1-0.

 

For the Cougars, Sydney Osburn and Chloe Siegfort lead the way in singles with 9-6 records, Ella Hancock has a record of 9-5, and Jaelyn Haler has a record of 7-6.

 

In doubles, Ella Hancock and Sydney Osburn lead the team with a record of 9-6, Talia Janos and Chloe Siegfort are 5-10, Alissa Thorfinnson and Danielle Thorfinnson are 4-5, and Jaelyn Haler and Emma Rangel are 2-1.

 

The Golden Eagles and Cougars match will take place this Friday, April 26th at 4:30 P.M.
