Grand Forks, N.D. - The Golden Eagles have officially wrapped up the regular season following a 5-2 loss to Minnesota State University, Moorhead. With this loss, the Golden Eagles find themselves in the sixth seed for the NSIC Tournament, which means they will go against the University of Sioux Falls for the second straight year.
In doubles, Daniela de Lucas Rivera (So., Madrid, Spain) and Ariadna Solis Guals (So., Santpedor, Spain) lost 6-1, Blaike Zander (Sr., Bismarck, N.D.) and Asli Oktay (Fr., Istanbul, Turkey) won 6-2, and Nadia Cases Mundet (So., Barcelona, Spain) and Kavya Singh (Jr., Agra, India) lost 6-3.
In singles, de Lucas Rivera lost 6-4 and 7-6, Oktay was down 1-0 but unable to finish her match, Solis Guals lost 6-4, won 6-4, and lost 6-0, Cases Mundet won both her sets 6-2, Blaike Zander lost 6-4 and 6-2, and Kavya Singh won both sets 6-3.
The next Golden Eagles match will be in Sioux Falls, S.D. as they take on the University of Sioux Falls in the NSIC Tournament.
