Blue Springs, Mo. – Minnesota Crookston closed out the NSIC Preview with a 309 team score, finishing in 11
th place out of 18 teams in Blue Springs, Mo. The Golden Eagles were in ninth place after the first round, yesterday.
 
Winona State won the Invitational by shooting a 292 in the second round and a 582 as a team. William Jewell College finished in second place, six strokes behind the Warriors, while Rockhurst finished in third, shooting a 304, following a 290 team score yesterday.
 
Individually, Ben Laffen of Minnesota State and Marius Dosiere finished in a tie for first, both shooting a 141 in the two rounds.
 
Lukas Justesen (Jr., Detroit Lakes, Minn.) finished in a tie for 20
th after shooting a 77 on the day. 
Andrew Wilhelm (Fr., Fargo, N.D.) improved upon his score from yesterday by four strokes, finishing the day with a 74, pacing the maroon and gold. 
Jayme French (Jr., Fargo, N.D.) also shot a 77 on the day.
 
The Golden Eagles finished the two rounds with 99 pars and 19 birdies throughout the tournament.
 
What's Next
The Golden Eagles will be off for two weeks before they head back to Kansas to the Washburn University Invite. The tournament hosted by the Ichabods will be the final tune-up for the Golden Eagles before the NSIC Championships, which are also in Blue Springs, Mo.
