• THE MINNESOTA CROOKSTON women's basketball team heads into the final weekend of the regular-season with a lot on the line. The Golden Eagles come in with a 10-16 (9-11 NSIC) record. Minnesota Crookston is currently ranked sixth in the NSIC North. They are fighting for an NSIC Tournament berth. The Golden Eagles could still possibly host a first round game in the NSIC Tournament if they win both this week, and MSU Moorhead and Northern State lose both. The only scenario where they could be the No. 5 seed is if one of Northern State and MSU Moorhead get swept and the Golden Eagles win both, and the other team of Northern State and MSU Moorhead wins either one game or both. In addition, Minnesota Crookston can't lose both games and have Minot State University win both games this weekend, in that event Minot State would have the tiebreaker on the Golden Eagles and would receive the berth to the NSIC Tournament. Minnesota Crookston has won 10 or more games for the first time since the 2018-19 season. Minnesota Crookston has three-consecutive NSIC Tournament quarterfinal berths from 2015-17.
• AGAINST THE OPPOSITION. The Golden Eagles were swept earlier this season by Minnesota Duluth and St. Cloud State. UMN Crookston has lost their last eight games against the Bulldogs. Their last win at home against the Bulldogs came January 5, 2019 with a 66-61 result. St. Cloud State has won the last five games in the series. Minnesota Crookston last defeated the Huskies at home February 22, 2020 with a 79-72 win.
· MILLER TIME.
Emma Miller has been a major impact for the Golden Eagles as a freshman. Miller leads UMN Crookston
averaging 18.8 points per game. She is second in the NSIC with 18.8 points per game. Miller currently has 488 points this season. She is 92 points from the single-season record for scoring set by Jessica Forsline during the 2001-02 season. Miller broke into the Top 10 for single-season scoring, surpassing Karna Plaine, Jamie Zelinsky, and Alexa Thielman. She is fifth all-time in single-season scoring at UMN Crookston. She needs just three points to move past Alison Hughes and six points to surpass Kari Score. Miller had a school-record 37 points in a win over Bemidji State University February 17. She was just shy of her record, scoring 34 points on the road versus Augustana. Miller has 11 games with 20 or more points this season. She had 30 points against Minot State University, and is coming off 21 versus Northern State University.

Fox moved up to second all-time in career rebounds three weeks ago, surpassing Laurie Tyson and Katrina (Moenkedick) Nordick. She is 31 rebounds away from surpassing her former teammate Isieoma Odor for the career mark. Fox needs to average 15.5 rebounds per game over the last two games of the
regular-season to accomplish the goal. If the Golden Eagles play in at least one tournament game, she would need to only
average 10.3 rebounds per game. Fox currently leads the NSIC in rebounding with 9.5 rebounds per tilt.
