University of Minnesota Crookston Athletics

Prior to UMN Crookston: Lane appeared in 10 games as a freshman during the 2021-22 season for the Fighting Hawks. She scored six points, and secured five rebounds. She enrolled early at UND in the spring of 2021, playing in three games and notching two points and three rebounds. She was a three-year basketball letter winner, playing two years at Pequot Lakes H.S., and her final year at Brainerd H.S. Lane was a two-time all-conference and all-area selection. She played alongside her sister Olivia Lane at both UND and at Pequot Lakes H.S., helping her prep squad to the 7AA Section Semifinals. She averaged 10.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game during her junior season. Lane was a 35-percent three-point shooter in high school.

Personal: Lane plans to major in criminal justice at UMN Crookston. She is the daughter of Trish and Chuck Lane. She has been named to the Dean's List and the Presidential List. Her older sister Vanessa ran track at South Dakota State University. Her first cousin Joey played football at Northern State University.
