Crookston, Minn. – Minnesota Crookston volleyball added two to their 2024 class. Baily Teveldal (S, Baltic, S.D.) and Lexie Gerritson (S, Waupun, Wis.) each signed their letters of intent to join the Golden Eagles for their collegiate career.
Teveldal and Gerritson join Lexi Scharold (MH, Alexandria, Kent.) and Lauren Schnettler (Libero/DS, Clarissa, Minn.) as members of the 2024 class and will look to build on what looks to be a promising future for the Golden Eagles.
Heading into his second full season at the helm of the Golden Eagles, head coach
Nick Meseck is excited about adding Teveldal and Gerritson to a roster that includes
Maya Jones (Fr., OH, New Braunfels, Texas),
Kailee Waasdorp (Fr., DS, West Fargo, N.D.),
Madison Carsten (Fr., OH, Wadena, Minn.) and other exciting young talent.
Meseck had this to say about the South Dakota native, Teveldal:
"Baily runs a great offense. She reads the opposing middles well, and sets against the grain," mentions Meseck. "She plays great defense, and sees the court well. We are excited for her to join the Golden Eagles!"
Meseck also likes the ability of Gerritson and loves the makeup she has as a setter.
"Lexie is a long, tall lefty that runs a smart offense, and is also an offensive weapon herself," says Meseck. "She has tremendous eyes when finding the ball to block, and plays good defense in the back row as well. Lexie will be a great fit for our Golden Eagle family!"
