Crookston, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston Western Team will travel to Wisconsin-River Falls for a two day meet on Saturday and Sunday.
This will be the first meet for the Golden Eagles since they were at North Dakota State for a three-day meet two weeks ago.
The Golden Eagles will look to continue their strong riding on the season. In their last meet hosted by NDSU, the Golden Eagles had a number of first place finishers, including
Ashton Wold (Sr., Devils Lake, N.D.) and
Olivia Becker (Sr., Deer Park, Wis.), who placed first in Section 2 of Open Horsemanship and was also the High Point Rider.
Belle Sand (So., Spicer, Minn.) and
Raeanna Danielson (Fr., Harris, Minn.) also placed in first place in their respective events.
Eliza Freund (So., Cando, N.D.) finished third in Section 3 of Rookie B Horsemanship and also qualified for Regionals in the same event.
