The Golden Eagles would play well in the final quarter and would cut the lead to 12, led by
Kylie Post (So., G, Corcoran, Minn.). The Golden Eagles would cut the lead to 10 after a 3-ball from
Veronica Schwartz (Fr., G, Parkers Prairie, Minn.) and a layup from Burke.
The Golden Eagles did cut the lead to eight after a pull-up jumper from Burke, but it wasn't enough, as the Golden Eagles fell, 78-70.
Minnesota Crookston was led by Burke and Post, who scored 21 and 14, respectively. Peplinski had nine, Schwartz finished with six, while
