CROOKSTON, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston baseball team will hit the road to take on Northern State University Wed., April 24 at 10:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. The games have been moved to Bucky Burgau Baseball Field in Moorhead, Minn., due to unplayable conditions in Aberdeen, S.D.
The Golden Eagles are looking to build on their strong season in 2019 as they take on Northern State, who is nipping at their heels in seventh place in the NSIC standings. Minnesota Crookston is looking to make their final charge towards their third appearance in the NSIC Tournament in four years. The Golden Eagles have 10 games remaining in the 2019 regular-season.

Minnesota Crookston enters the week with a 21-16 (14-9 NSIC) mark. The Golden Eagles are four wins away from setting their school-record for overall wins and conference victories. Minnesota Crookston has reached 20 or more wins in each of the last four seasons. The Golden Eagles came away with a win over No. 5 St. Cloud State University last Friday, and are looking to build on their second-ever win over a ranked foe.
